Congrats to the recipients of the 2024 MMS Honorary Supervisor Awards and Publication Prizes!
As we head toward the end of the year, it is important to celebrate our successess. Three individuals from the Department of Paediatrics have been recognised through the Melbourne Medical School research awards:
Associate Professor Jonathan Mynard
who won for Outstanding Graduate research Supervison by Honorary Staff (in the Leader Category).
Dr Ann Frazier
who won for Outstanding Graduate Research Supervision by Honorary Staff (in the Emerging Leader Category). We are excited that Ann is taking on the role of Coordinator for our Honours program in at the Department of Paediatrics!
Dr Farnaz Sabet
who won the Early Career Academic and Graduate Researcher Publication Prize in the category Graduate Researcher (Clinician Researcher). Her paper "The Forgotten Girls: the state of evidence for health interventions for pregnant adolescents and their newborns in low-income and middle-income countries" highlights critical gaps for a vulnerable population globally.
