International Allied Health Professions Day

It's International Allied Health Professions Day on Saturday 14 October and at The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) we are celebrating our incredible Allied Health teams with a whole week of activities. 

On Wednesday 11 October there will be a special Allied Health Grand Round on the intersection between digital health and Allied Health. On Thursday 12 October the Allied Health Education Team are hosting the Allied Health Symposium.

This year's symposium will include a presentation from keynote speaker A/Prof Kelly Weir, Director of Allied Health Research titled ‘Clinical Research in Allied Health: Reaching Our Potential’. The symposium will also include the 'five minutes of fame' competition, research and innovation award presentations along with the presentation of the Allied Health awards and door prizes.
